Artificial Groundwater Recharge and Recovery Project Enlargement Application Ground Water Recharge Permit #2. Ground Water Recovery Permit #2. The sources of recharge water proposed to be stored underground via injection are: 1. Unstored spring runoff from five mountain streams in Southeast Salt Lake County; Bell Canyon (North Dry Creek), Middle Fork Dry Creek, South Fork Dry Creek, Rocky Mouth Creek, and Big Willow Creek; 2. Unstored irrigation season runoff from Provo and Weber River rights of the Provo Reservoir Water Users Company yielded under the Welby Jacob Exchange;and 3. Stored CUP water released during the winter months for injection at a single well located at 2400 East 9800 South. It is proposed to recharge 7,683 acre-feet in a wet year, 5,798 acre-feet in an average year, and 1,056 acre-feet in a dry year. It is propsed to recover the water at a rate of 70.86 cfs.
