Colorado River Water Rights ListingProgram Updated: February 5, 2021 Run Date: April 25, 2024This program produces a live listing of all water rights (surface and groundwater) with area codes (first 2 digits of the water right number) corresponding to water right areas that comprise the Upper Colorado River drainage (Water Right Areas 01, 05, 09, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 97 & 99). The listing can be filtered by county. For purposes of this listing, a water right is identified as within a particular county strictly by the county designated for the water right in our database. This county designation is typically based on the location of a water right's point of diversion. A water right with a place of use different than its county designation will NOT be listed with the county corresponding to the place of use. Diversion and depletion amounts are ESTIMATES based on the water uses described on each water right. |
