between the upstream meter and the downstream meter. Both are open channel
administered by the USGS.

Please bear in mind that not all of the water diverted was used. During the
year, the lake came up 441 AF. The estimated evaporation is 250 AF/year.
There is no accounting for seepage. When I combine the master meter for the
lake outflow and the water pumped from the two wells last year, I end up with
a 67.49 AF loss. Or 4.50% loss.
