The Division of Water Rights presents information to the public through public meetings when changes in policy or other important events occur which will affect water users. This page is provided to help advertise those meetings and provide a summary of the information presented.

TRAINING FOR ENGINEERS/SURVEYORS ON HOW TO PREPARE A PROOF OF BENEFICIAL USE

Purpose:

We will be hosting a training session for Engineers and Surveyors on how to prepare a Proof of Beneficial Use. The training will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Department of Natural Resources Building in Salt Lake City (1594 West North Temple Street) in Room 1040 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. PUBLIC MEETING CONCERNING THE LIST OF UNCLAIMED RIGHTS WITHIN THE ROSE PARK SUBDIVISION, SALT LAKE COUNTY EAST DIVISION OF UTAH LAKE / JORDAN RIVER DRAINAGE (AREA NO. 57, BOOK 8)

Purpose:

The State Engineer has prepared the List of Unclaimed Rights for the Rose Park Subdivision (Area 57, Book 8) in the Utah Lake and Jordan River General Adjudication (pursuant to Utah Code 73-4-9.5). In light of the publication of the List of Unclaimed Rights, the public is invited to a Public Meeting. Representatives from the Division of Water Rights will be available during this time to review the adjudication process, discuss the list of unclaimed rights within the area, and answer questions.

Efforts are currently underway and over the next few months, representatives of the Division of Water Rights will be working in the Dry Creek area to survey existing water rights and investigate water userís claims. In light of this work, the public is invited to a Public Meeting. Representatives from the Division of Water Rights will be available during this time to discuss the adjudication process, review water rights within the area, and answer questions.
