Abstract:

The WRDAMS is a point coverage of dam locations in the State of Utah from the Dam Safety Regulatory Database at the Utah Division of Water Rights. .

Purpose:

The WRDAMS coverage is used primarily as a complete listing of dam locations in the State of Utah.

Supplemental_Information:

This is a point coverage of dam locations in the State of Utah from the Dam Safety Regulatory Database at the Utah Division of Water Rights. The coverage is generated weekly from basic information in the tabular database.

The coverage coordinate system is UTM zone 12. Locations are computed from latitude/longitude values in the database. The origional positions were scaled from 1:24000 USGS Quadrangle series maps.
